Meet the Staff

Technology is great, but if you're like most people, it's greatest when it's someone else's problem, not yours.

Here at Technically Sound, we're focused on turning technology from a hindrance into an ally for your ministry, by hiring technical people who are focused on exceptional customer service for your ministry.

Most of the time, you'll be interacting with Steve or Kevin. Here's a little bio for each of us:

Steve Simms

Owner, General Manager, Production Manager, Janitor, etc.

Described as a computer geek by everyone he's known since elementary school, Steve became a Christian while at college, and got involved with the local Campus Crusade for Christ group. During that time, he began to learn about the various administrative tasks involved with running a ministry at local, regional, and national levels, and started writing software to simplify those tasks.

After college, Steve continued volunteering for a few ministries, and started sending prayer letters for local missionaries. Before long, he discovered that he could do this economically on a larger scale, and prayerletters.us was born in 2004. It became his full-time job in 2005, and he's sent over a million letters since then, becoming a popular sight at the local post office.

Kevin Sheahan

Customer Service Representative and Production Technician

Kevin joined Technically Sound early in 2008. An avid outdoors enthusiast, he has hiked and skiied countless trails (and non-trails) in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Colorado, among other places. When he isn't working as a comma-vigilante proofreader and production technician at prayerletters.us, he serves as a youth pastor at his church, and is also a junior varsity soccer coach.
